Chrysanthemum

A simpler sibling to White Lotus — markdown-organized, built for one-on-one RP, with a voice of its own.

Same structure I liked in White Lotus, stripped down. Fewer toggles, writing style baked in, less to fuss with.

Chrysanthemum is an alternative to my White Lotus preset. I liked how White Lotus was structured, but I wanted something simpler — so this is that. Same general goal, less machinery.

The biggest difference under the hood is that Chrysanthemum organizes everything with markdown rather than XML tags, and the writing style is baked directly into the prompt instead of living behind a pile of switches. The result is a preset with a distinct "feel" of its own — noticeably different from White Lotus, in a good way.

It's tailored for one-on-one roleplay, so most of the setup you'd normally fiddle with is already handled. Load it, drop in your character, and go.

The Two Toggles

Chrysanthemum keeps it lean — there are really only two toggles worth touching: NSFW and User Autonomy. You can happily leave both on all the time. The preset is tuned for one-on-one RP, and User Autonomy is what keeps the model from grabbing the wheel and writing {{user}} for you.

If you'd rather let the model write for {{user}} too — narrating both sides — just flip User Autonomy off. NSFW does what it says on the tin; toggle it as needed.

Baked-In Style

Unlike White Lotus, the writing style here isn't a menu — it's built into the prompt. If you ever want to tweak it, the instructions are split across two spots: the Main Prompt holds the style, and Turn Start handles length and structure. Edit those and the whole voice shifts.
